LeMANS:
The Michigan Aerothermal Navier-Stokes Solver
The LeMANS code provides a 2d/axi-symmetric/3d capability for simulating continuous, nonequilibrium flows. The code is optimized for efficient execution on both scalar work-stations and a parallel computing environment through the use of domain decomposition. In our research, we have successfully run LeMANS on the following machines: SGI Altix 3700, SGI Altix 4700, AMD Opteron 64 bit cluster, and a cluster of Pentium processors.
Features of the code include:
- Structured and/or unstructured grids
- Finite volume code
- Point or line over-relaxation
- Thermal-nonequilibrium
- Standard finite rate chemistry
